Poll of TR Staff:  The Capsule-less Option

The vast majority of wineries -- worldwide, domestic and Finger Lakes -- who bottle their wines with corks put a capsule (also called "foil") over the top of the bottle that is removed before pulling the cork.

Last year we began an experiment with the production of wines without capsules (also called the "foil"):

How would you foresee a majority of customers responding if all our wines were capsule-less?
Indifferent
Supportive, due to less waste and envi impact
Supportive, due to improved "looks" of the package
Opposed, due to (unfounded) concern over impact on quality
Opposed, due to a poorer "look" of the packaging

How would you personally view the possibility of producing all our wines without capsules?
