Dan Bissell, Winemaker

A Finger Lakes resident since 2007, Dan has many years of experience in the wine business working in all aspects of the industry. He's always been fascinated by both the science and magic that go into making outstanding wines. He joined the Keuka Spring team in the 2020 harvest as Assistant Winemaker, and became Head Winemaker in the summer of 2021. Get to know him a little more in this article in Edible Finger Lakes.

If you are lucky, you may meet Bruno running about the vineyards or supervising the bottling line. He's been referred to as a "big baby" and loves to sneak out and greet visitors whenever possible.

Jim Cerullo, Cellar Master

Initially working in the tasting room, Jim came to us with a strong desire to learn as much as possible about the winemaking process. He now works in the wine cellar, assisting the winemaking team.

Jim spent 34 years working as an athletic trainer and professor of sports medicine. (Ask him about his time working with the University of Pittsburgh football team and the US Olympic Luge team!) He relocated back to the Finger Lakes with his wife to be closer to family. He loves seeing the art and science of what goes into making a fine bottle of wine.

His favorite wines? Humphreys Vineyard Riesling and Miller's Cove Red. Favorite wine pairing? Miller's Cove Red with a slow-cooked pot roast on a crisp fall evening.
