August Deimel, Winemaker
August joined Keuka Spring Vineyards as Head Winemaker in 2012. He has a liberal arts education from St. John's College and a Master's degree studying Enology from Cornell. His experience includes winemaking in Pennsylvania and California and in distribution. Vintages August has made at Keuka Spring Vineyards have earned 90+ scores and Best Buy ratings in Wine Enthusiast and Wine & Spirits Magazines, two Governor's Cups for Best NY State Wine, and Winery of the Year among other accolades.
Matthew Sweigart, Assistant Winemaker
Matthew started his career in wine while working in the restaurant industry in Manhattan, New York. He has worked as a Sommelier and Beverage Director for multiple restaurants in New York City and New Jersey. He also worked as a a Regional Sales Manager for a wine importer in Pennsylvania before moving to the Finger Lakes. His first vintage in the Finger Lakes was in 2018.
