We ferment and age our Classic Chardonnay in a blend of French and American oak barrels to impart a lovely toasted vanilla aroma and creamy finish to the delicate fruit notes of this wine.  Chardonnay was one of the four original wines that inaugurated Keuka Spring Vineyards back in 1986, and remains a perennial favorite of our customers today.

Pairing ideas: Grilled salmon, risottos, pasta with white (cream- or cheese-based) sauces, steamed or grilled shellfish, spring vegetables. Serve chilled.

This is a delightful chardonnay with a bountiful bouquet, (whatever that means!) It is a rich chard and paired incredibly well with the salmon we just caught and sent home from Alaska, with a deep flavor and a lingering aftertaste. It was a good wine in the tasting room, but for some reason, (perhaps the salmon and the distance it traveled to Wyoming?) this chardonnay is most wonderful. It has been a hit on both occasions when I brought it as a hostess gift. Need to start saving it for myself.
