2021 DRY ROSÉ
Our very popular and refreshing Dry Rosé is a lovely wine to enjoy with lighter food at lunch and dinner, or all by itself. Beneath its light garnet hue is a complex blend of Blaufrankisch (also known as Lemberger), Zweigelt (another Austrian variety) and Cabernet Franc. The winemaking team used selective malolactic fermentation to develop a beautiful soft texture that is uncommon in Dry Rosés. Stone fruit and hints of maraschino cherry shine on the palate. Try a nicely chilled glass with a slice of wood-fired pizza, grilled ratatouille, cheese dishes, tandoori chicken, or salmon burgers. Perfect for your summer picnic or barbecue!
Our 2019 Dry Rosé was featured in the June 2020 Washington Post Article, "Summer sipping doesn’t get much better than these five wines under $20"
"This lovely wine is a blend of lemberger (also known as blaufrankisch), cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. So its flavor profile definitely speaks to the Finger Lakes of New York rather than the Mediterranean coast of France. Candied cherries, wild herbs and a hint of apricot tease the palate, with enough acidity to keep the wine refreshing. Savor this on its own, with light summer lunches or with pre-dinner appetizers."
