SINGLE VINEYARD SPOTLIGHT

From a favorable location on the southwest side of Seneca Lake, Humphreys Vineyard provides balanced, intense vinifera grapes year after year. The vineyards east-west orientation creates clean and delicate fruit the produce truly outstanding wines. Our decision to bottle these wines as single vineyard selections reflects not only our belief in its quality, but in the uniqueness of this site. 

2021 HUMPHREYS VINEYARD ZWEIGELT

This is a limited-production pilot project that speaks to the innovative spirit of our winemaking team. Fermented on the skins and aged in neutral oak barrels for 5 months, this still red Zweigelt treats the senses with bright berry aromatics. Its lively cranberry and redcurrant notes are sonorous and piercing, accented by whiffs of violet and black raspberry. 

2021 HUMPHREYS VINEYARD RIESLING

Crisp and bright, this dry Riesling delights the nose with hints of citrus and apriot, opens in the mouth with mineral notes and a round texture, and culminates in a long, clean finish.
