Making its long-anticipated return, we are thrilled to have our Cabernet Franc back on the menu! Cabernet Franc the single grape that unites all of New York's wine regions, and one that we're proud to grow on our own estate vineyards. One of the most notable aspects about this varietal is that you can create an incredible variety of styles from it, all of which are very expressive of the site from which the grapes originate. This makes Cabernet Franc the red poster-child for showcasing the stunning variation of terroir that exists in the Finger Lakes region, and part of what makes the region as a whole a geographical gem in the wine world.

We fermented our Cabernet Franc in neutral barrels to soften the tannin and round out the texture of the wine while maintaining the delicate red and black fruit notes of this supple wine, followed by 10 months of oak aging prior to bottling.

Dominated by black cherry and some light smoke and tobacco with fresh peppercorns on the nose. Delicate in body but concentrated and focused. Palate shows some oak, dried figs and black current. Fresh, crunchy, and vibrant, with a satisfying clean finish.

Food-friendly and dynamic, enjoy our Cabernet Franc with roast chicken with veggies and herbs, or a duck breast with cranberry compote.
